Only had it a day and i like em so staying! Quick question though when driving with any type of weight eg passengers im getting a weird vibration/ knocking noise, its not over any particular bumps just normal road surface, little bit worse when pulling away so i was thinking engine mount bush or may be droplinks?

Cheers sam

rear console bushes? common fault, best check out the common faults on here for an easy and predictable life

As far as the twist, they are obviously marmite but if you like them that is all that counts. I personally prefer OEM style to aftermarket but its a cracking looking car whether the alloys are your choice or not.

Yeah sorry thats what i meant console bushes.

I actually really really like those wheels.

Twists only look good on silver cars, they would look awfull on hmm lets say a black one :D

Only an idiot would put silver twists on a black car...

Prob a newbie question regarding stereos and upgrades. I like the oem looks and with my brothers golf its all pretty easy to upgrade, everyone with a fabia seems to fit after market headunits but why cant you fit rns510 or something similar? Same goes for bluetooth, why cant you code in a bluetooth module thats available in vag group? I was messing with interior light today and it even has same space to clip in the microfone exactly same as golf. Finally golf has lowline, midline and highline clocks it would appear some fabias have a similar highline unit according to guide book so why couldnt these be coded in?

Just bought cupra bushes as well! Ive gone a bit mad on spending spree!

You can get a MFD 1 for the Fabia, basically a old school sat Na , its plug and play more or less but Skoda ones are rare. Bluetooth wasn't an option back when these units were made so you'd needs a Parrot on top for the phone.

The highline clocks on a golf are iirc like the Fabias "maxidot" dash. This was only fitted to cats with factory satnav when new, as you can imagine very few got it. It can be coded but by the time you have found the clocks, the satnav, got them coded to your ECU then to work correctly with the rest of the car it'd possibly £1000+
