Center armrest and bulbs for speedometer

Featured Replies

Hi,

1.

I want to install a center armrest in my car.

But when I go to ebay it seems to be a bit of a jungle.

I want a original armrest or a armrest with the same quality as standard.

I hope to here from someone who's done this mod to their car :-)

2.

I want white lights in my speedometer.

Which bulbs should I by? Can you maybe help me with a link?

Thank you :-)

I hope there's someone who can help me instead of just assuming I have'nt tried on Google.

The mk4 golf armrest fits into the fabia, do have to screw it in but it fits :) not sure on the bulbs

Type "led lights" in the search button and only select fabia 1sub forums and several threads will pop up to help you.

those linked to the pages you needed

doesnt a mk2 fabia armrest fit too?

and the bulbs seem abit serious having to strip and de/re solder in leds

For the armrest search pimped my armrest.

Yeah a fabia 2 arm rest fits that's what I've got in mine. It screws into the floor so is really sturdy, I could probably give mine a good kick and it wouldn't move lol. I think danham put a golf one in and it went loose and he had to put new screws in. Depends on your budget the golf one is cheap but not that sturdy whereas the fabia 2 one is over £100 I think but probably the best you can get really

The golf one is quite a good fit I think I'll go with one tbf

I'll expect to pay around £100 for the armrest, so that's okay.

Can you maybe help with a part number? Or a link for this item?

have you heard of 'scrap yards'? Broken cars go in and you can take bits off them. As for the instrument bulbs, try 'white bulbs'
