Must give VRS Mike a big thanks, for being a great person to deal with very honest seller.

Got it home and gave it a good detail.

Done a few things to get started ( nothing out the ordinary ) replaced the rear skoda badge and debagded the rest,  BMC CDA, S3 lower brace, Milltek downpipe, Forge TIP, wheels powder coated, Team Heko's, Cupra splitter and seats.

Thanks for the welcome.

MX5 was a Eunos 1.8, completely stripped out. No carpet, heaters, glove box, air con etc etc. just two lotus elise seats and a roll cage.

Future plans for the Skoda are front mount, already have a welly cooler, but no pipe work some recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Then stage 2 map.

Im sure that mx5 was kicking around swindon not long ago...

Anyhoo nice vrs!!

Fitted HPA short shifter today, must say the gear changes are loads better. Got Draft 42 bushes to do next.

What was the shifter like to fit? been considering this my self as the octy gear change isn't the best. I've already got the draft 42's and verdict bushes so is a bit better but still too much throw on the lever for my liking.

Love the yellow looks good wish I'd never sold my yellow one. [emoji20]

To be honest I found the shifter really easy to change, and I'm no expert with the spanners.

Draft 42's are on. Had to file out the 8mm one a little as even though it looked the same size as the plastic one I removed it was just to tight to get on the pin.

Shifts are much more precise and its tightened gear changes up nicely.

Verdict bushes up next.
