Wiring

Featured Replies

I am looking for a wire(live) I can use under the bonnet for wiring in a set of daytime running lights? must be a wire that works through the ignition or an easy way to thread a wire into the car. any help would be great :hi:

Theres a relay under the dash to the right near the drivers door that goes live when the ignition is turned on

To stay legal you also need a DRL relay such as ebay item 270929531647. Connections are to side light supply, ignition switched +ve and ground (battery -ve).

i've been looking at the items on Ebay, plus the pictures you have posted - but I still cannot for the life of me work out exactly WHERE you have mounted them? Inside the light units? Outside? They almost look like they're in a gap between the bottom of the light unit and the bumper - but there's not enough room there?

Puzzled. Please let us know! :D

there are mounted under the outside, wasn't sure about putting them there but when I seen how thin they where it seemed the right place, there is just enough space between the bottom of the light and the bumper to get these on, but after having them on the car a few weeks I would say "DONT DO IT" lol, I am planning on taking them off and looking to replace them already.....
