as the drivers side has a key entry there are 2 torx to undo (behind the rubber grommets)

I'm too fat to sneak from the boot

Wait a minute,if the car has been locked from the key you cannot open the door from inside, the only thing you can do is open the hood

Because I can and i wanted to..................

I have 2 spare key fob and if needed can go through the boot. Seen the mess idiots made of my mate's VRS trying to turn the lock with a screw driver, so thought give this ago... .

You can still open from inside. I did this before.

Mine won't open from inside if it was locked with alarm.

thats due to the deadlocks.

At least you can get into the boot climb over to pop the bonnet release, then you can put a jump pack on the battery so you have enough power to start  the car and work the central locking deadlocks from the remote ket.

Hang on now lol

I had the keyfob battery die whilst de locked as above.

Key in boot unlock, climb through and opened doors.

Yep that what i did once to...

My drivers door was already de locked when I bought the car over 6 years ago, and I've never had a problem.

Anyway, using the hatch lock with the key still operates the central locking and opens/locks all doors (as long as the car battery has juice obviously).

I have however locked myself in the boot before!
