My car has just had its 30,000 service and was told i had about 3-4k left on hte brake pads and instead of paying skoda thought i'd go for better ones like ebc green stuff (alos hopefully less brake dust). Was just woundering if anyone has went the same route and what they went for? also if they know the part numbers that would be great

from friends experiences i wouldnt go for green stuff

From my experiences I am well impressed with Green Stuff, zero brake dust, good braking.

Id reccomend DS2500 but they will destroy your standard discs if you use them hard..

But do anyone make pads for the vRS yet?

Could always treat yourself to a nice little brake upgrade.

I have checked with GSF and they do not do Pagid for the Fabia vRS.

The only ones that they can supply is Mintex.

I was not aware that Green Stuff was out yet for the vRS.

But are the standard pads not up to anything?

If required I could do a bit of hunting if you are looking for something other?

Was in my mates shop the other day, he checked about green stuff pads and they aren't listed yet according to his supplier. Walkie have you got green stuff pads on yet and if so do you know the part number for them.

My pads are pretty much done, thanks for looking Sarah will have to have a hunt for a set today

Could possibly get Genuine ones or Mintex in today if that helps?

I spent a bit of time hunting around for fast road pads before opting for 312mm conversion. Couldn't find any at all.

IMO, the standard pads seem to lack feel after the initial bite.

Just went out quick run to the shopin the car and they the foot was to the floor on the brakes. Phoned Demon Tweeks and getting a set of Green Stuff on MOnday.

I know was speaking to my mate was trying to gt me a set but said they weren't released yet, but demon tweeks said they had them so will wait and see, they'll prob have to be sent back

im using ds2000 ferrodos onmy ibiza i believe the caliper is the same as a 2.0 fabia, dunno bout vrs , but they r a very good pad dusty tho
