Featured Replies

Right took the car for a driving tho evening was driving fine then hit the motorway and put my foot down notices that it was boosting to just under 20psi and felt pritty quick anyway once I slowed down and then Tryed to give it some power again it was only boosting to 5/6 psi max so stopped the car and turned the engine off (no lights came on at all).anyway started her back up again and she boosted to just under 20 psi like she was before but I never had my foot right down but wasn't far off it.really want to know wat that could of been?also it has decat fmic and a silly dump valve.it smells quite rich but I dnt knw if that's just because of the decat also I have been using vpower nitro

Check your brake lights work properly, for example they come as soon as you touch the pedal and that they work

Right ok why would that have anything to do with the boost mate?

Not directly but it can throw the ecu into a spin making it think your braking when you aren't which cuts power and in turn the boost.

You need to scan it for codes before you do anything else, sound like you could have an air/vac leak somewhere

Sounds like limp home mode to me. Defo get it read for fault codes. My brake light switch failed causing the exact problem.
