Columbus 510 firmware

Featured Replies

I have a 2010 Superb with the Columbus 510 headunit, it only utilises 4 digit postcode searching so I sent it in for a service with the local dealer and asked them to update the firmware after looking at all the threads on Briskoda. It came back with no updates needed which I though was wrong given all the info on here about 7 digit postcodes and hidden menus so complained to Skoda UK, the dealer has had it back and updated the firmware to 2854 and maps V9 from the DVD, I still have no hidden setup menu and stuck with 4 digit postcodes. Can it be updated past 2854?? the dealer so it cannot be updated past this as the head unit will not accept any newer firmware than 2854 its a standard 510 columbus!

Yes it can!

Read the threads on this forum and also the 'My Gti' forum and the 'VW Navi' forum.
