Right Connections Trailer Loom

Hi does anybody have one of these branded trailer electrical kits fitted? Do they work?

I have one fitted to my car (not by me) and I believe it is malfunctioning and causing issues

The car is telling me the trailer left indicator is out....but not trailer is or has been connected during my ownership. The fault only started occurring about a month ago and for a while I thought it was caused by some dodgy led sidelight bulbs - replaced them, then by my dodgy vagcom coding - pretty much undid everything I did which solved nothing.

so I've done a lot of reading and the symptoms I have basically mean a trailer bulb is out but if no trailer is fitted wtf is going on.. dodgy/faulty kit I'm thinking.
