Hi all. Am new to the site just wondering if there are any owners of the mk3 vrs petrol and if so can I ask what sort of mpg you are getting both in town and on a trip. Many thanks

I am getting about 32mpg in town and 40mpg on a long motorway trip at 70mph. Car has done 3400 miles and I fill up with Tesco Momentum.

My TSI manual box is giving me, in relation to my driving style 36mpg for work commuting and local mileage and best in recent 300 mile round trip 41.5 mpg. average speed 48 mph, on all road and town /country driving. 

The figures between computer and actual fill to fill method are pretty accurate.

 

All in Normal Mode.

 

Current mileage  on clock 3200 and consumption seems to be improving.

 

I consider my style to be smooth but quick but not the power /brake variety.

This thread makes me glad that I've chosen the VRS TSI!! I was expecting people to come out with low 30's!!
