Really pleased with it. The match to the SE leather is pretty much on point. Although as the Armrest is brand new it doesn't have that shiny coat to it.

Matt.

Nice! Could you polish it up to make it match better?

Or treat your leather to take them back to a matte finish.

Was this the ones they sell on ebay for golf mk4s?

Nice, did you just self tap it?

Yes Joe. I can pop the item number up if people want? Don't think I'd be breaking any rules there.

I have some leather cleaner so might give the seats some love tomorrow.

Yea used 6 in total. 3 at the front and 3 at the rear.

Lovely

Cool. Was looking at them for when I get my leathers in as it would finish it off nicely. You drove it since fitting as im unsure if it will get in my way as im pretty lanky and cant help but think it will get in my way when going in to 2nd, 4th and 6th.

A link would be ace if you could please Matt. I want an armrest but not sure what to go for....

Im quite short Joe. Around 5ft6" and I have no problems. It can be adjusted to the upright position for short journeys where you may be changing gears a lot if that's an issue. The handbrake is a little awkward but it's not a big deal really as I don't really use it when I'm stopped at lights etc.

Yer im 6ft 4 and my elbow goes right back between the seats. I suppose I would just apadt to it though. My old mans vectra has an arm rest but is abit longer lay out and is fine. Think I will just have to suck it and see.

It only cost me £40 inc p&p so it's not a big loss. Although if you had one and didn't get on with it I'm sure someone would have it off you.

Yer thats what i was thinking.

Yeah I used six screws too. Keep thinking about trying to fabricate a bracket or use the golf one some how to make it sturdier.

Amazing how much you get used to it though. Tried driving with it upright the other day, well strange.

Hard to fit? Any chance of a guide please! Really want one myself :)

Thanks a lot

No Worries. Shipping was fast and the item was well packaged.

I've had it in for a couple of days now and I'm using it all the time in the car. Storage compartment isn't massive but it's big enough. It also has a rubber gromet in the underside to allow you to run a charging device from the cig lighter into the armrest so your chosen device is hidden whilst it charges.

You could run a USB/AUX into it via an aftermarket Headunit or Connects 2 so you can play your music and still have your device close enough should you need to use it.
