Popped into the dealer this morning had to drop off my black grille frame to be fitted then it arrives

Car will be built next week.. 

But may not leave the factory till after Christmas..

Some may say that you'd need to have lots of time and very few things to fill it to find that interesting! I'm sure you're right though, watch this space :think:

It'll be one of the first things I'll do.

Fire up etka and get my chassis number decoded. Then onto the car data sheet for a list of every PR code fitted to my car.

I did the same with my mk4 Golf.

I have been given a build week 51 as well. Unlike most of you people, I will have to wait for the vehicle to be shipped halfway around the world. Glad to get it built before Christmas, but I suspect the Christmas Holidays will delay shipping. Probably am not going to get it for at least 2 months.

Got an email this morning from Sparshatts in Fareham. Car has been built and is at the port in Germany ready for shipping.

Spoke to Skoda uk this morning car still at Emden Port waiting to be shipped..

Mine is there too, build wk 50. Must be a bit of a backlog because of xmas maybe?..

My vRS tdi, race blue with black pack was ordered at the end of Sept and been moved twice. Originally End of Nov then mid Feb and as of Yesterday mid March..... Not impressed.

update...update on my bw51, it is now confirmed as left the port on a ship yesterday although they would not say what ship that is... for some reason the chap on the phone said it takes 4-5 days to get the car to the UK from port. right!

Now got to wait to be picked up and taken to the dealer 40 miles from the dock

Ok so the three of us (our BW51 new cars at least) are racing for delivery to the dealer this week
