Drop link (is this the right one)

Featured Replies

I don't think they will fit an octy vrs as they have longer arb links than a non vrs octy. The listing says mk1 Octavia but it doesn't mention the vrs. Is your car on coilovers? I'm not sure adjustable links are necessary. When I changed my shocks I couldn't undo the drivers side arb link bolt due to corrosion. I had to buy new links in the end.TThey're not expensive and I was changing the shocks anyway but they can be real pain.

Can some one send me a link of a site that I can get them from

Gary I used euro car parts for mine.... Merc 638 2.3 petrol vito... One side part number is 614220110 £6.96 inc vat

Lost the part number for the other side but least that should get ya started buddy:)

The merc Vito links are needed for prosport coilovers due to the arb bracket on the shock being fixed in the 'wrong' place. Is it prosport coilovers you've got?

God knws how do I find out wat kind they are

Ah you didn't fit them then. Just jack the car up front or back. Give a shock a wipe down and see if you can see a sticker or summat. Prosport kits are blue springs I think. Use the search bar for info on Vito drop links buddy. Loads of people discussed it here.

Lots of posts on this lately. Seems people are getting confused. You should use or get std vrs drop links 336mm ones weather you have coil overs or std struts. The only exception is pro sport coil overs as the idiots manufacturered the drop link bracket 2" lower. The vrs does not suffer issues with clearance of drop links like none vrs cars. And that link are not the right drop links for vrs.

best bet is measure the bottom of strut to drop link bracket and this will at least tell you if you have std measurement of not.

or take a pic of it and post it.
