hi just wondered if anyone can help me out

need the back grounds gone on these as want to order a canvas with both on for partners xmas present

 

can anyone do it for me or tell me how as been trying to work it out for 3 days

I could probably do this for you on the original file if you emailed it to me.

I'd need to know what background you want.

As Marie says the thumbnails are much too small to do anything useful with. What you need to do on a copy of the original is to make a selection of the outline of the dog(s), perhaps using the lasso tool with a small feather value (so the edge isn't too sharp), the create a new layer i.e. 'Layer'> 'New'> 'Layer via copy' - this will have extracted your dog(s) from original background. You can then drag the dog(s) from this new layer onto another background, then tidy up. You may have difficulties with feet and shadows and the like unless you turn them into a portrait...

Note the above won't stand up to scrutiny above thumbnail size due to small size of original, but gives an idea of what could be done
