Not good mate, try a search on google for po2015, sounds like the flapper has gone, needs a new intake , very common across vag

Can you just not order a new valve and motor. I'm guessing the sensor must be part of the assembly. Unplug, remove about 3 bolts, fit new one and bobs your uncle?

my old 2010 car had po2015 - dealer put a new intake on under warranty (guessing this was easier than replacing the flap/motor).

This is what this forum said about just the part replacement. Do you know if this is simple anyone please. I have tried things in the past and nearly messed up as ok but no pro mechanic.

How much is a new intake is that mega? Any help really appreciated :)

IIRC, after a certain build date the inlet manifold was changed and doesn't require replacement.

The earlier ones (that req replacement) it's usually the pivot arm on the right hand side (as you look at it) that breaks.

On the newer ones it's usually a sensor failure of the wiring has become damaged as it sits right next to the oil filter and can get caught/knocked/covered in oil.

A new inlet manifold is somewhere in the region of £250 maybe? The sensor is around £80.

I have been told that the flap needs replacing?

Can this be bought separately as all the ones I  have found online seem to be for tdi engines not for a petrol TSI like mine?

Does anyone know the Part number for flapper motor and assembly unit or how I can get it as dealer won't give it to me !!!!

I have a flap motor in my garage for a 2.0 TFSI... Took it off mine last year while trying to fault find and replaced it with a new one. Turned out it wasn't the issue at all so my old one was fine!

Did you fancy buying it from me?

I was told by a Skoda dealer that as mine is a TSI engine rather than TFSI and the motor etc was part of the inlet manifold hence why I asked. Thanks for the offer.

I thought a 10 plate would be a TSI but your diagnostic readout in your first post says it's a TFSI on the first line... Thought it may have been a late registration or something?

No worries, offer is there if yours does turn out to be a TFSI!

I noticed that too but the VIN number says otherwise according to the dealer. Will double check. Thanks

It is the TSI engine but I have been told that this is the part that needs replacing ??!!

Throttle Body 06F133062J

Sits just below the inlet manifold but

All others here and on other VAG forums seem to say it needs a new inlet manifold which is where these flaps are for the TSI engine.

Any help really appreciated.

If you can find the part number for the inlet, type it into this website.. www.findpart.org

It will cross reference the part, then you can try and find the manufacturers part number which might save you a small fortune as you may be able to buy direct from them.

I bought my Intake Manifold motor for my 2.0 TFSI direct from the manufacturers, VDO, and saved just over £50 based on the dealer prices....
