Crunch (minor)

Featured Replies

Had my VRS 2 weeks and someone ran in to the back of me yesterday. Crunched me while I was stationary at the lights. One of those Nissan CashCow's or what ever. Not a scratch on hers!

Pain in the ar$£!

Also while I look at this pic, anyone know what the best way to revitalise those black trim bits? On my list of things to do!

Thanks!

Should be easy enough to repair that.

As for the black bits they pop off, so might be easier to remove them and spray them black

Ouch.... That's a damn shame dude....

My old business partner used olive oil on his trims...... Looked brilliant :)

New ones are the best option

Really lifts the car

Or a heat gun does the trick :)

Then theres this awesome stuff called auto finesse revive to top it up

Heat gun them then put some decent black trim stuff on top to preserve them for a bit.

You would be amazed at how good a heat gun brings them up.

Boiled Linseed oil.

Oh and if your going to heat gun it remove the black bit from the car so you don't ruin the rest of the bumper

Just clips out :)

Had the same down to my estate this week . cars booked in this week to get the rear bumper and tailgate sprayed courtesy of the other driver. Costing him as much as his excess

Looks like the bumper has been pushed down a bit and also the rear plastic fixings are away now too - which I hadn't noticed. Had 1 quote at around £350 and will get the other later. Second quote - garage said they would probably replace the door.

Wasn't expecting it to be this much.

Cheers for the info on the black trim. I was looking at trying this Auto Finesse revive. Anyone used it?
