Part number needed for upper intercooler pipe - 1.9 TSi 110 BHP ASV

Featured Replies

The wife's octy has a boost leak from the upper intercooler piping to the LHS of the engine, I have tried vag-cat but can't get a part number.. I have already ordered the wrong bit off ebay!!  I have attached a pic showing it along with the wrong bit beside!!

Looks like you ended up with the lower 'pancake pipe'.  I can't help with a part number, but you will need to remove the drivers side headlamp to aid the fitting of the new pipe (once you have sourced it)

That looks much more like it.  Might be best if you could confirm the partnumber (vagcat - online), or phone a dealer and ask them....

It should have the part number stamped on it somewhere. That eBay looks right though.

You can remove the pipe without removing the headlight with some fiddling, you do need to take the cover off the back of the he light though.
