PID in another car

Featured Replies

Isn't the Skoda / VW / Seat version based on the Navigon 40 ??

You would be better off getting a cheap Satnav from Halfords that comes with a window mount.  The PID battery dosen't last that long without being pluged into the holder. I took the PID on a walk and it lasted less than 2hours.

Skoda should've made this interchangeable across the range with an accessory fit mount but with Columbus units around it ain't gonna happen :(

Can you not just use your phone?

Navfree on my Galaxy S3 is spot on

Just get a phone holder then

You can charge the PID through the USB connector so you could use it in a different vehicle if you wanted.

That mount you found looks like it should fit too.

Easily charged by the std plug in point and USB lead,

It does not need to be on the dash mount.
