Lambda sensor change

Featured Replies

Hi, my EML came on over the weekend, I plugged it in today and it came up with fault code p0135 and p0030.

I've read posts on here and else where that it's sensor 1 lambert sensor ( the one before the cat).

These do not seem to expensive to buy but is it a d.i.y job to replace one, cheers for any help Phil.

Lambda sensor even...

Will move this to Octavia 1 section

Should get more views/replies there

Cheers

yes is quite easy to replace 2 spanners needed ..... 22mm for the sensor itself and a 10mm for the plug housing under the car.

Give it some penetrating oil and let it seat for a couple of minutes, they are pretty tight and tend to "weld" to exhaust due to high temp.
