I have my phone (SII) connected and can send\receive a text fine in the car but when I leave the car there is no record of those texts on the phone, is that normal or is there some way to "sync" the phone with the car?

There is an option in the Maxidot to copy any messages from the car to your sim

I took a look at this and even though I copy the message from the MFD or SatNav it still never appears on the phone, any suggestions?

On my Galaxy S3 they are stored on my SIM card and to access them I need to go into the menu for the messaging page. hope that makes sense
