Anyone used the Insurance Factory for insuring their pride & joy?

Had a really low quote for insuring the S4 with a stage 1 map (411bhp declared).

Just never come across them before. They seem to specialise in modified car insurance so some on here may have used them.

Let me know how they were after you parted with your money / changed details / had a claim.

Have a hunt around their website for small print. Most insurers are actually owned by much bigger companies.

 

If it still smells fishy find someone else. Fake insurance brokers are becoming a popular fraud right now.

 

If it looks too good to be true it probably is.

You are right about being cautious, but I don't think they are dodgy. Just trying to get any past or current customer views

Cheers, read that when I first looked so all seems above board, but would prefer to hear first hand experience before parting with my money

Earlier in year I used them for a quote and got by far the best price at time. I then went to one of the companies they generated a quote from and did a quote direct with them and got it even cheaper (remapped stage 1). But I have special needs to have car insured on VIN number for about 30 minutes to go re-register the car back in the UK and then immediately tell them the reg, as I have been away so the best deal I could get for that was over double elsewhere :( Other than that I would have decided with my wallet and got the cheaper one with all the trimmings added.
