Configurator - Total price vs RRP?

Featured Replies

Below is the spec of Yeti I am thinking about. My question is why the difference between Total Price and RRP? It doesn't seem to be the difference between the base price and options added. Are Skoda recommending a discount on their own product??

Is the Total Price the On-the-road  price? If so it includes delivery, 12 months road fund licence, first registration fee etc. although the difference of £1400 seems a bit steep.

You've added in textile floor mats. You might want to think about rubber floor mats as well as or instead of textile. Much more practical (especially for an Outdoor model that it looks as though you are going to use for towing - caravan?) and in the Yeti they don't look out of place.

Rubber mats are what I want but they are not on the configurator. But dealer said he could change textile to rubber ones :)

As for the price difference. I hear what you are saying but £1400 price difference beats me.

Towing a horse trailer as it happens.

It's about £900 for the delivery, first year road fund and suchlike, then the extended warranty gets added to the total price but not to the RRP which makes up the rest of the difference.

You can test this by turning the extended warranty on and off and seeing that the total changes but the RRP does not.

Hadn't thought about the extended warranty - that would be the thing to bring the difference to around £1400. The rubber mats were about £35 when I bought mine so I would cancel the textile mats as part of the order and either ask the dealer to throw in a set of rubber mats as part of the deal or buy them when you pick your car up. That way your not relying on the dealer crediting you with the difference or being around £30 down if they are simply swopped over. (Not a lot on nearly £29k but half a tank of fuel....)

Road Fun License is now 140GBP for the CR170 Engine on an FL.  Take this into account.  The Dealership had to refund me 35GBP on collection of my car.
