I collected my TSI VRS at the weekend. Along with a few other options, I selected the Amundsen Sat Nav but my VRS didnt have a SD card supplied (which holds the Sat Nav data). The dealer apologised and said they were waiting for them to be supplied. Anybody else come accross this issue when ordering the Sat Nav option? I don't understand how you can order Sat Nav and the vehicle doesnt come with the Sat Nav SD card.

Seems normal now, been covered before.  Apparently they were being stolen at the docks so now the dealer needs to order them via spares.

Yep dealer should have ordered this for you through parts when the car landed in the UK so you had it for collection. Their error I would say.

Yep. Same here. Very annoying. Mine is supposed to arrive today 4 days after my car. Not a deal breaker by any means, but I was counting on it to get home from the dealers who were 85 miles from my home. :-)

Mine came in two weeks after picking up the car.

I received my new Skoda Octavia III end of November with the SD card but it was the 2012 version. Ok, you can download the 4Gb+ zip file and install it on the card but still ...

Mine was with the car when I picked it up end of September & was 2013/14 version. Strange that later cars are being delivered with older version. Was the car a factory order or did the dealer get it from stock which might account for the earlier SD card?

Mine arrived seperately at the dealers to the car, although he was surprised that it got there in time.....

I agree that this would be very annoying, but not able to find your way home without satnav? Now that is extremely concerning!

It was a factory order and it was actually build beginning  of November.

Very strange that you get a newer build car with an old version SD card. I would be tempted to ask the dealer to order you another card & ask that it be the latest version. That way either Skoda or the dealer has to download the data & you then have a spare card in case of future download problems.
