Hi everybody just noticed that my handbrake warning light does not illuminate when handbrake is applied,I purchased car second hand 3 months ago from a skoda dealership . Can,t ever remember seeing it working lol. Hoping for an easy fix save me taking it back to dealer. Any advice would be appreciated.

I don´t know about the light but as you drive pull just a tad the handbrake to see if a warning displays

Thanks Alberg I have tried that I half expected some sort of audible warning sound, or warning light.

Might be a micro switch fault. Id get it sorted by dealer as it should be covered under warenty.
