Cheers guys :) is there a particular one I should go for??

SEAT do one which is supposedly made by momo.

Should be available from any dealer for around £50

Forge used to make one but it's no longer listed on their website.

Second hand ones pop up regularly on here and on ebay as there is much discussion about if they actually improve handling or if they are just an expensive way to make it more difficult to change the air filter!

I'd say they're a expensive way to make it difficult to change the air filter! Can't say I noticed any difference with mine but does look good under the bonnet

OMP make one also which are normally really good quality

Ok my journey home which is only a couple of miles I could tell it has stiffened the front end up slightly, and I'm running Coilovers so it's already stiff as it is

How much did you pay tommccabevrs? :)

There isnt any play in the body as standard.. my drive is full ofpotholes and pretty much is like a laland rover asult course. Even with an antiroll bar on the rear. Pulling the rear of the cararound on potholes. Can say my bbody flexes. They is a tiny creak from door rubbers but thats about it. Can see them helping.

But there is the confidence enspiring and the fact that they do make the engine bar look alot less boring and allot brighter .

You will always be able to sell easily when you sell the car too .

I paid £45 for mine second hand.. Everyone has their own opinion on things I guess and like I say I can say I have felt it tighten the front end up.

45 quid. For that value I might be tempted to buy one for the look of them when you open the bonnet lol

I can't tell weather you're being sarcastic or not ha, I bought it for the looks anyways trying to make my bay look nice

No sarcasm. I for some reason thoughts they were about 150 quid. 45 quid is good price. As they look good lol

FWIW they also fit a 5J Roomster Scout B)

They are nearer the £70-80 mark now a days!

I fitted mine more for the looks but I have noticed a slight increase in steering response :)
