Faulty seatbelt warning chime/light.

Help!!

I've got a 2008 elegance estate, and the seatbelt electrics must be hit or miss. Sometimes I can breathe and the chiming will start and light will flash. Other times it can go weeks with nothing. At the moment it's doing it all the time more of less, and it is driving me nuts. Anyone know which fuse it is? Or how I can sort it out without much technical help or knowledge on my part. Obviously my seatbelt is in when its making this noise and its the drivers seat

Many thanks

I have had a similar problem just recently, my little boy managed to pull apart the seat belt connector with his feet. You could have a look at the connector to make sure it is properly seated. Jack seat all the way up and push it all the way forward, then trace wires from seat belt buckle.

If it is properly seated get a scan done (VCDS) and post up your results.

Hope this helps
