Exhaust Bushes

Featured Replies

Looking at changing them, but is it better to stick with OE or go poly?

Any one had any problems with resonance when they have fitted poly?

Thanks

Depends what exhaust you have,

If its standard i would just replace with standard ones, there actually quiet cheap from dealers altho there is 4, 2 at front and one either side of rear box,

I have a milltek system and found it bouced about to much with standard mounts so bought one of these off ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UNIVERSAL-2-HOLE-EXHAUST-RUBBER-MOUNT-MOUNTING-HANGER-BRACKET-BUSHING-SUPPORT-/231052290639?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item35cbca2a4f and then removed the from rear box mount and drilled down the middle of the metal mounting and then ground it down at one side until it came apart and swopped the mountings over and then bolted it back together again with a nut and bolt through the hole i had drilled through it earlier.

This mount http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAR37-VW-VOLKSWAGEN-T4-GOLF-PASSAT-RUBBER-EXHAUST-MOUNT-HANGER-/221325045441?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3388002ec1, altho this already has a hole through middle but genuine ones don't
