VW Bora V6 4motion 2001 Y Plate, now sold

I'm selling my bora as I've brought another couple of cars lol, was using it yesterday and it almost overheated, noticed the rad fans arnt kicking in, so it's got the common fan failure, luckily I was only a mile from home, so let it cool down and limped back, if you search v6 fan failure you will see there are lots of ways to repair it, fit new resister packs or new fans themselves, unfortunately I don't have the time, and now have four cars on the drive oops, so she's up for sale

Y plate 2001

Genuine 61k on the clock backed up with mot history check, hpi clear when I brought her,

Mostly service history, a gap of a few years after it was a few years old, then I have started it up again,

Serviced and MOT'd in Nov with fuel filter changed too,

Tax till end Feb

Lots of little extras and this I've changed since I've had her ill try and list the ones I remember,

All new genuine door handles, centre trims carbon wrapped, edition 25 gearknob and pedals,new battery, new track rod, haldex oil and filter changed, new header tank, armrest retrieved in Alcantara, cruise control fitted, polo r aerial

Milltek cat back non resonated exhuast, just try and find one of these so rare, can't even get them anymore,

Tyres are all legal around 3mm on each, front two Sunnys rears a conti and Pirelli, was going to get new wheels hence why there odds and sods, never bothered changing them,

Four wheel drive works perfectly, suspensions abit creaky but is 12 years old, have a set of r32 front and rear shocks can be included for right price, very hard to find took 3 months to source some decent ones,

Air con has been removed for better economy as the compressor was busted, secondary air pump has also been removed so one more thing not to go wrong.

Really clean for her age, a few stone chips on front and one on bootlid, tiny dint in o/f wing

Obviously can only be driven a few miles so would have to be recovered any further away, I'm in York

Hi mate,

Do the fans actually work? Eg could the fan controller be bypassed to get them on? Recovery is pricey so if it can be driven, that would help
