Should add, if you get stopped by the plod in Germany they DO check for winters as we just had this, and yup I'm running winters. Poland and Germany both the law. Just look at the number of cars running old steelies, they are all on winters.

 

It's definitely the law as we looked at hire cars from France and they didn't have them and they wouldn't let us take them into Germany!

Winter tyres are normally whacked on in October and taken off After Easter the Germans have a saying for this from "O to O" but also you can häng on Till there has been several days Where The temperature has been below 6 degrees as yet it's been no Where near 14 degrees today !!!.
