Prosport coil overs handed?

Featured Replies

Hi all Reyes to fit my new prosport coilys but found that wen comparing them the flange for the anti roll bar links is the same way roun see pic post-108151-0-39005300-1387743175_thumb.jpg so arb links will be flush on on the flanged the other side fits on but the curves of the flange look like they may rub ? Has anyone encounted this before or have prosport sent me the same side twice?

It was the same when i fitted a set to a mk5 golf

Both shocks were the same and they werent handed

Probably same scenario

Thanks for the quick reply did yours have the rounded edges one side? I'm thinking of cutting the flange off and turning it over and welding it bk on as I'm a welder by trade but I shouldn't have to do that to a brand new kit

No i didnt have an edge

Phone the supplier and see what they say

They will probably be correct

Contacted it's the way they are cheers anyway mate

should not make a difference buddy as the drop link is going to fit inside that flange anyway so you will be ok.

It is cheaper for manufacturer to make the cheaper coilovers same sided.

However you will need to buy shorter drop links for those pro sports anyway as pro sport have fitted those bracket in wrong place (2" too low)

merc vito ones are needed
