Hi, I picked up my new Octavia Elegance 1.4 TSI a few weeks ago and notice it does not have a TSi badge on the boot, does anybody know if this normal now? The showroom model I looked at when ordering the car had one and the brochure also showed one fitted. Many thanks.

If that's a change that'd be going all the way back to the days of the mk2 Cavalier "Base" - all vinyl, no badge. I'd be asking the dealer for a badge regardless!

Some one who got 4x4 also mentioned no 4x4 badge either now - unlike early photos.

Previous thread 13 Oct - No TSi badge on boot covered this. Seems they are not fitted. My Octy 3 came without one.

They must have all been bought by TDi VRS owners who wish they'd bought the petrol!
