My mk2 Octy is the only car I've experienced in which the horn doesn't operate with the ignition turned off, the main headlights flasher still functions.

Talking of horns, anyone else feel their Skoda horn sounds a bit rough?

I've a spare Peugeot horn I'm thinking of replacing mine with, much cleaner tone and louder.

I like the sound off the horn on my 08 elegance, only thing is I cant seem to get the pressure right  to just go beep-beep it's always a full blast,

I much prefer the horn on the end of the indicator stalk, always available without taking a hand off the wheel.

I want a Nathan 5 chime air horn but I think it is illegal.

 

Pity really, because I could toot here and be heard in Devon..............

I prefer the horn to be loud so when an idiot does something wrong i can hold it for a little longer than normal and everyone else can see the idiot

Talking of loud how about a set of British Rail diesel two tone jobs?

There's a clip or two on YouTube of someone who fitted a set, the compressor is a bugger though... WAY loud Eeeee-Awwwww!

Completely crazy db level and freaks everyone.

The horn on mine was great but my Citigo one is even better. Strange
