Can the cupholder be secured on either side anyway? I've learned something new today (hmmm, at 22:47 :D) if the cupholder has fittings to only secure to the side of the radio which is furthest away from the steering wheel. :cool:

No you can only fit one on one side of the stereo.

:thumbup: Right, after learning my ONE new thing today I can sleep contented! nanite! :D

Be aware that if you fit an aftermarket head unit, there's a chance that the flipout cupholder will foul the knobs on the head unit as the cupholder tries to spread its wings. So it may not flip at all.

Yes and yes' date=' although you might want to research other alternatives. The Fabia cupholder is cack IMO and I belive that there are several other alternatives

I think this can also be had with a coin try on one side. There are plenty of other threads to search :)

I like the cupholder, but also with an aftermarket head unit, it may not slide out by itself... unless you buy a Becker. :thumbup:
