VW MK4 / Bora seats in Fabia?

Featured Replies

I have Googled and searched and getting conflicting answers...

Will a VW Golf MK4 and/or BORA front and rear seats fit straight into a MK1 FABIA without any modifications required?

Cheers

No, you need to modify the bases and swap brackets over.

The only seats that will fit straight in with no modifications whatsoever are from a Fabia, Polo 9N/9N3 or an Ibiza 6L.

Thanks :)

Yo softscoop well done with the info .....what about a seat transplant on a mk2 fabia 2011 any suggestions ..?

Situation with the mk2 Fabia is exactly the same.

It uses the smaller floor plan than the Golf/Octavia/A3 and is actually the same as the mk1 Fabia.

Soooo the same mk4 or later Ibiza, polo 9N or later, or mk1 or other mk2 Fabia will bolt straight in.

I know Brimma put mk4 Ibiza FR half leathers in his Fabia estate and a few are now starting to retro fit mk2 VRS seats into mk1 Fabias.

Going slightly away from the answer, TT seats can also fit nicely with a bit of modification.  I have a set for sale too. :)

These were in a 9n3 polo.  I made brackets so they bolt straight in and adapted the airbag plugs too so they fit straight in as well.  They've also still got the heating elements in them.  Plug and Play..... well, they are now.
