HPI RS4 EVO 3 RC car with Imprezza shell

Featured Replies

I've come across my old r/c car. I bought it about 7 years ago and it probably got used 10 times. It is a nitro engine with rotostart. I really don't know much about these, I just fancied one.

It won't start, well it will but fuel seeps through the washer/heat sink and if you rev it it stalls. I have no idea how to fix it. It needs attention, the rear suspension shocks need replacing and it needs a new battery compartment cover (well it goes fine without)

The shell is in one piece although the front is a bit scuffed (must of crashed a bit)

I have all the radio gear, rotostarter, fuel bottle and glow starter. The only thing I can't find is the charger for the rotostarter.

I'd like £120 but I really am open to offers. Ideally collection only, and I've got some nitro fuel I bought a little while ago you can have. If being posted then the buyer is responsible for costs etc.

Feel free to ask any questions! Or if you know what might be up with it so I can fix it :)

Yes it is. I'm going to try and get it looked at by a model shop over the next couple of weeks to establish what needs doing.
