My Skoda Octavia VRS 08 windows are steaming up inside after parking up. The back window is almost misted straight away.

The inside of the Winscreen is wet inside and takes ages to clear. Anyone got any ideas?

Normal, especially if your sat in it. My rear windscreen mists up pretty quickly. Doesn't help that when it's wet that the water runs off the window into the boot.

I don't get much on the front windscreen.

It's after I get out of the car the back window starts to mist up.

The front was wet inside like the out side was. Really getting me mad as have to towel the window.

The air on is rubbish.

Check the spare wheel well for water .

A common MkII Octavia complaint. A few checks you can do here for the usual signs of water ingress...

Check for the common issues of rear washer blockage and water in boot seal.

Front Windscreen wiper has an annoying issue

We bought a 2024 Skoda Karoq 1.5 SE L back in May this year. Pretty much ever since we've had it, the front wiper will periodically (randomly) wipe the windscreen when there's blue skies and no rain. Sometimes it will wipe once, sometimes three or even four times. It has been doing this seemingly more frequently in the last couple of weeks when we were away on holiday. Driving back from north Wales yesterday. it happened on seven or eight occassions. I've checked the position of the wiper lever

I'm looking at a 2020 Kamiq SEL as a second car, which has the fairly rare 'adaptive' cruise control (not 'predictive adaptive'). I've had mixed experiences with ACC on two Citroens. My recent C5 has it, and it works great and very smoothly so long as you remember that all it really does is keep you on station with the car in front and stop you running into it. Before that had an older Berlingo. That had ACC that it worked, but that system braked fairly hard and later than I'd have liked, then a

Whilst in France last week my car received an infotainment update, The car is a 2024 Octavia Vrs diesel hatchback, with a reversing camera retrofitted by East Yorkshire Retrofit. After the update two odd things happened. Firstly the reversing camera did not work at all the first time I reversed the car after the update. Then it worked, but instead of the full screen showing the camera view, it is now two thirds camera view and one third a top-down outline of the car with curved lines showing the

Hi guys, Just bought a 2020 Octavia and end up stuck in a seemingly infinite "Please wait..." loop when trying to become the primary user on the infotainment. I was able to set up an account on the MySkoda app and add my car's VIN. I then get to the "activate vehicle" stage and it directs me to continue on the infotainment. My email/password has been added as a user, but any time I tap into "become primary user" it just hangs and says "please wait...". I've tried it with the car's eSIM active,
