1.9 Service history...

Hey guys,

 

As you might know i sold my Superb in the summer of 2013. Someone asked me about my service history and i promised to look into it. Though it turned out, that i had lost some of my documentation, this is the result of my service history roughly:

 

Skoda Superb 1.9 TDI (2003) original 130HP.
 
When aquired: 95375 miles or 152600 km. Marts 2010.
When sold: 320000 miles or 512000 km. June 2013.
 
Chip tuned via professional since aquired. Power increase to approx. 180HP and 400NM. 
0-100 km/h in about 8.2 seconds. 
 
Stuff replaced or fixed.
16 x Service (oil, filters, etc., etc.)
1 x Bilstein B6 shocks with H&R springs installed when old ones gave up.
1 x Normal VAG brakes replaced.
2 x EBC brakes front/back + pads consumed. (Was fitted when sold)
1 x Battery replaced with VARTA with higher AMPs. 
1 x Steel wiring for electric window front drivers side replaced. (Old was totally corroded away)
1 x Front window replaced.
10 x CV Joint fix + service on arms and changed etc.
1 x DMF + Clutch replaced.
1 x Crankshaft seal replaced.
4 x Timing belt incl. waterpump and all other belts changed.
1 x Wiring loom for PD unit replaced.
2 x MAF sensor replaced.
1 x Steering rack replaced (f****** expensive).
1 x Turbo hoses replaced.
1 x Exhaust system replaced.
1 x Air-Condition compressor replaced.
1 x Air-Condition hoses replaced (they were bust from age).
1 x Headlight repaired. 
1 x New speakers, sub woofer and stereo installed. Car Sound 1000W with JVC navigation head unit and hands free Bluetooth. See my post in the technical guide section for more info. 
1 x Full LED replacement of all halogen bulbs. See my post in the technical guide section for more info.
1 x HID / Xenon upgrade from halogen bulbs with new wiring etc. 
6 x Set of tires consumed. 3 x winter & 3 x summer. Always used Continental. 
 
Fixed for free via Audi in Germany.
Water ingress problem.
New ECU.
 
Things broken when car was sold.
Air flap motor, that controls hot/cold air flow. I manually opened it cause it was summer.
CV joint (again).
Rust in boot, door panels and under the car.
Broken sun visor drivers side. 
 
I hope whoever asked about this will see it and be happy for my work. It has taken a lot of time to gather all this info.. lol. 

That's impressive to see that this car/engine can do that mileage at the uprated power/Nm numbers.

So it looks like you were still on the original injectors and camshaft??

Is the car scrapped now or is someone still pushing the mileage up?

How on Earth did you manage to cover 230000 miles in 3 years??

Still running by a youngster here in DK. Injectors and camshaft still original + turbo was original. Distance was covered via work. I'm working for the Danish government, healthcare, where you will have to use your private car for transportation. In return we get paid extra per mile. 

 

Check out my fuelly on my new Rapid. Only 6 months old and already covered 18750 miles.

Sounds good!  What a comfy vehicle to do the mileage in!

An incredible vehicle, you must have looked after it well.  Hope the Rapid serves you well.

Off topic but how do you rate your Rapid?

I do like the look of them. Does it feel a lot smaller than the Superb though?
