The noise difference though is incredible.

5500rpm? My limiter is still at 5000rpm. Yours must have had a limiter raise - Who did the mapping?

Yep, surprising how much more 500 rpm actually is when it's already pulling like mad!

You said you went for a lower map, what's the figures?

Remember skudmissile getting similar figures on stealthy dyno using a washbrook map. But settled for a lower figure.

Yes mate stock nozzles.

I've had 3 maps,

1 - was for using the standard clutch on the hybrid turbo

2 - slightly adjusted which is the 204bhp map you seen

3 - is the 244 / 245bhp map!

I'm running the 2nd map again now though as yesterday after going out for a run with another member off here I started suffering head lift on boost. So PD150 head bolts are being ordered from TPS and then the 244bhp map will be put on again.

Both maps are on the ecu they just require switching over with vag com

Started loosing power and coolant dropping mate.

you lose coolant.

 

I don't seem to suffer with this which is good for me.  Could be because my head is ported so flows better, and less pressure building up to cause head lift.

I am running a billet wheel from Darkside in my GTB2566vk turbo.

 

Where the 150 hybrid billets come from I am not sure.

only 158 miles.    I've driven 300 home after a trackday before.

It's about the same for me heading to Combe

New head gasket time along with pd150 bolts

Indeed I am going to Combe going on track aswell but be very nervous for that!

Quite possibly, although I'm not the first member to experience headlift, who's then fitting the bolts. The PD150 head bolts are already in the hands of Dirty Torque (that's why I got them from TPS) and are being fitted this week
