Red Yetis are *among* the fastest (notice the diplomatic touch...), but the wonderful thing about Yetis is their steady smooth 'We can do this' - all that stuff that came out of your Octavia could find a home in your Yeti and you wouldn't notice it.  You can fill up your boot and compartments, the car will just limber up and go - and you'll be comfortable.  Had mine just over 3 years, now, and it's the best car I've ever had.  Enjoy!

Well, I've only had it a few hours but already it's bringing a huge smile to my face in a way that the Octavia never did. It's comfortable, the ride's good, it's quiet...

A grin that's very hard to get rid off

Before I got it, the missus went on and on... "are you sure you shouldn't get a 4x4?". "Don't be daft" says I, "...the weather to justify a 4x4 really doesn't happen that often."

 

Picked it up yesterday. Drove it in snow today. Hmmm.

 

BTW, I think this is the first car where I'm going to have to read the manual. Yesterday I was confused that the car was telling me "S" and "E" and then "S" again, which I thought was some assessment as to whether I was driving for Sport or Economy, until i spotted it telling me both at once and I realised it was a compass...

 

And the radiocommunicationcommandcentrethingy already has me longing for a radio cassette...
