hi, thanks for replys very helpful, im not sure what my conversion is i just found a receipt for it from previous owner. tbf he did the majority of the work to it, i kn ow everything from the service/ receipt history thats been done but never had chance to rr it, gonna get new clutch in then find out what shes running :) are we saying vr6 clutch then best option? should it last a little longer?

my first question is what are the mods and what bhp u running? or what stage map and mods are attached?

i ran similar kit on my car stage 2, and i murdered my clutch plate in about 19,000 miles, but I do track days and I am quite aggressive with my car.

pm clive at cn tuning sure he has got a company to can make you a clutch to what ever spec you need

Are you saying that you had a new clutch fitted 15,000 miles ago & its now slipping? unless your car has serious power or is driven badly it should last way longer than that, only thing i can think of is its had a recon clutch plate fitted or there is a oil leak onto the clutch assembly, but as others have said the vr6 mod is the way to go. Welcome to the forum, another fellow "yorkie"

mine was an oem  vr6 plate and oem g60 flywheel.  when i switched to the 6 speed box had 3k left in it at best.  I am far from a bad driver it just wasnt up to hard track work. plus ft/lb that running. closer to 300 ft/lb and it wont last as long as getting to limit of it all.

hi, its running stage 1 revo remap, blueflame stainless with decat, cai with filter down in front bumper, 4bar fpr, forge splitter valve, ko3s turbo i think that is all, i know it will only run on momentum/super unleaded other than that ive not done anything with as its ran fine for the time ive owned it. im just now looking into modifying/ tuning it :)

the kit above should be more than enough for what you need

What did you have to do to do the 6 speed box change?

Try these, there in Leeds and definitely worth asking, they can make a clutch for the specific mods to your car, We dropped our A3 off, went for lunch and they called us a couple of hours later when the car was ready! Fantastic service and they certainly know what there doing! and there reasonably priced too!

6 speed box, mine from lcr, clutch and flywheel. selector box and cables, drive shafts, and either fit the clutch pipe, or bend yours neatly to fit.

I dropped whole engine out as easier. but i was changing my engine mounts too.
