hi guys, im Ant.

im from st athan in s.wales

just picked up a nice little octavia vrS 20vT (03) which is bloody great.. its an ex traffic cop car so im pretty sure isnt standard. she goes like the bloody clappers!! lol

anyway, i have a few niggly little problems that i may need help with as im new to these after years of e30 bmw ownership amoung other things :-)

Neigbour with a Fabia Mk4 called me recently, his drivers door and the rear (right) passenger doors were partly open with what looked like a stainless steel rod jamming the two doors in their partly open/closed positions, to make a long story short, it was the door umbrella that apparently had shot out somehow or other and jammed the two doors, he had partially opened the back door to let his dog out I think and had let his own door partially open, or something like that. Octy 2 1.4TSI ESTATE CAXA Quite uncertain where to enter this question. The keyfob#1 has started to cause serious problems with the car alarm system. So far keyfob#2 is working with no problem. Car alarm starting randomly and only disconnecting the battery helped. Yesterday the alarm kept sounding/flashing even when the engine was running - undrivable. Is there a home cure whereby I can remap/reset the key fob? My very helpful auto sparks is unable to help

Hi I am thinking of getting a Elrok as our first ev replacing or Karoo. Looking at the edition model 85. I wondered if there were any real world views from owner about their experience especially if the first ev owned.
