its just the sporty one.

if you look at other companies like vauxhall and ford have 'normal' models costing more than the sports variants

Fabia vRS is the most expensive of the hatch models.

Astra VXR is the most expensive Astra

Corsa SRi is the most expensive Corsa

Vectra GSi was the most expensive Vectra

Fiesta ST is the most expensive Fiesta

Focus ST will probably be the most expensive Focus

Mondeo ST220 is the most expensive Mondeo

All Sports models and all the most expensive in the range.

Looking at the current price list I would expect the new vRS to be just slightly cheaoer than the L&K

IMHO - I rekon the sport was a stop gap.

The vRS has never been the top model, it doesnt have all the equipment of the L+K or even the elegance, its just the sporty model as said.
