Laurin Klement edition or VRS

Featured Replies

Looking buy an OCtavia and was searching for a VRS and narrowed it down to 2 but then came across a Laurin Klement edition. WHat's the difference in the engine? Is it running a standard K03 vs a k03s in the VRS or is it just a different map? I'm going to be modifying it so a bit of feedback would be much appreciated (the Laurin Klement edition is running a Shark stage 1 map to 210bhp)

Vrs looks better

lol, aye it does by a long way. Think I'm going to go with an '04 VRS I found with FSH, recently changed cambelt and water pump and only 70 odd thousand on it. It's silver and would've preferred black as a base but ah well, I can sort that later. There's another running a stage 2 REVO map but much higher miles and belt hasn't been touched yet but does have a full SS turbo back in position already and a bit cheaper...ho hum, hate making decisions

L&K is a lot nicer inside, trouble is the vrs has a different suspension set up, Inc rear braces on the hatch, bigger brakes, body wise it's just a different front bumper, a rear spoiler and a cut out for the exhaust in the rear bumper.

You try keeping the stains at bay, it's impossible, rather have a leather interior and dark carpet

LMAO...I'm an anally retentive when it comes to the cleaning and polishing so I'll go mad lol!!! Got no kids but 1 a seriously messy GF who will be getting kicked out of a moving vehicle if she drops crap in it hehe. I'm used to full leather TBH, might be cold in winter but easy to wipe down so a 2 tone will make a bit of a difference for me.
