fabia vrs lowering springs ?

Featured Replies

hi everyone looking to put lowering springs on my fabia vrs

wanted to no if I could put lowering springs off say a Octavia vrs, cupra 1.8t ect ?

also what would be the best ride height to lower to as ive got 17" alloys on ?

car was lowered previously 80mm on coilovers to wants fun to drive as the gas leaked on them

now on standard suspension and don't look right and handling has become rubbish.

No you can't put springs on it from a octavia Vrs, well anything is possible but seriously... No.

Personal taste on ride hight, I would say 40mm.

You could invest in better coilovers, ap or weitec?

I don't think the octavia ones will fit and if they did the springs would be the wrong poundage. If you look in the for sale section I'm sure there were some joms for sale for £100

do you have any pics of a fabia lowered 40mm ?

Apex springs

Perfect height! Around 30mm drop on a vrs, ride is good and they are only £96

AP Springs and shocks, i couldnt rate them highly enough. Really not dear, about £230.

Not a massive drop, about 40mm

Are you looking for just springs or a complete springs and shocks kit?

Damian @ DPM Performance

Apex springs as previously mentioned or vogtland springs

Ap springs and dampers are good for the money. The above vrs does sit well on them.

Nice,

Does the drop with this kit seriously affect the ride comfort?

Eibach's

Bought mine from eBay for around £40 about 3 & half years ago. If eBay let's me go that far back on purchased items then I'll tell you what brand they are. They've been perfect done a about 27K on them and not an any issues at all. 40mm drop too.
