2010 VRS TSI engine

 

I have had weeks of problems with errors from my VCDS for the inlet manifold flap. The garage said it was so many things that I did not trust.

 

So being the novice I looked myself and found a broken pipe, which I fixed and put back on. Cleared the fault on VCDS and it has not come back . Hopefully it will stay that way.

 

Can anyone tell be what the broken pipe is and what it does please?
