Wet pollen filter

Featured Replies

Hello all

Been getting water in passenger foot well, so checked scuttle drain, all clear, but pollen filter is very wet, so guessing waters getting in through it

But scuttle cover seems a good fit, and has an inner lip that covers filter, so cant see where the water gets onto filter ?

Anything else to check ?

where the scuttle meets the window is it properly stuck down or loose? When I put mine back on I lined the part that meets the window on the inside with electrical grease as its clear sticky and water repellant.

Thanks, will try using a sealant

Be careful when using sealant on the scuttle panel, as if you use one that sticks really well, you may never get it out again if you get problems with the ecu or main junction box.

Really stuck scuttle panels  have been know on here to end in cracked windscreens trying to get them out.

Shadows Entity's idea seems better as it is just a grease at the end of the day.

Hope it helps
