Indicator Stalk and Light Bulb

Hi Guys

2005 Skoda Superb Elegance 1.9Tdi

I had the dreaded indicator clicking sound when i wasn't using the indicators and my stalk got stuck and it broke off.I have purchased a new stalk and found the guide on the forum but i don't have all the tools and think it might be slightly above my abilities. I was wondering if there was anyone in the Stamford/Peterborough area who could help me? I will pay for your time.

Also last night i had a front light bulb go, i was wondering if i should just buy a direct replacement or if anyone recommends any upgrades for both sides. I haven't fully looked into how to change them yet but do remember reading in the past it is a bit of a pain.
