VRS pd130 ASZ turbo compatibility?

Featured Replies

Still relatively new to the world of fabias I've been looking into turbo options.

As my fabia is only on 60K i suspect the turbo would last many more years, however, should it break a couple people have said to me that a pd150 turbo would be a good upgrade, then a remap.

Instead of just straight replacing the turbo with a replacement, what direct swap turbos are available to them?

Whats the best 'well trodden path' if you like to get them up to around 200bhp?

I don't plan on going crazy with it and do rarely ever drive it hard, but am just learning about the options i have.

Many thanks, Matt.

After a pd150 I'd say either a 52 or 56 compressor hybrid based on a pd150 for simple bolt on upgrade. These are referred to as stage 1 and 2 from turbo dynamics.

After that I'd say gtb1756vk :)

Is there a fairly predictable power output from each turbo once mapped?

At the moment with the pd130 turbo i have a 165bhp after the map.

Thats very helpful, thank you!
