Thanks chris, planning on doing the wife's Mazda 2 tomorrow weather permitting, think it could do with a lot of prep work really though as its not had a wax on it for quite some time, just some washes every now and then.

I'm thinking with it been such a good colour (the one from the LV add) it should come up great! Not to dissimilar to Sparklys car colour really.

Not sure what I should use on it yet though any thoughts on that colour? The wife just wants the paint to pop, I just want the protection.

Was thinking of going the chemical guys way with the blacklight and jetseal, but I'm not sure now as the colly and Bsd came out quite well on mine.

Or should I just go collect that pot of vics concours I so desperately want to try? Hmmmm

Vic's Concours you say! I have some for sale Carl.... We can discuss on Sunday lol

Sounds great to me, what size pot is it? And how much left?

I'm really excited now!

How sad am I?

It was only a 3oz tub about 50-60% left.

I have the Victoria Wax shampoo as well... Very slick indeed!

No sadder than many here Carl

I cant bear to part with my waxes..I have many

As you probably know.....

Im using sealer at the moment mainly because its less likely to degrade with Sonax BSD on top

Ok I'll wait for Sunday ste, I'm sure we can strike a deal? Would I get much out of a half tub from 3oz?

Yeah your right chris and if its something we enjoy, who are people to say that's sad.

Please, Please. Please...enough.

I know I'm probably going to get some stick over this (this is a motoring forum not an educational one, and all that) but I'm afraid I'm seeing it all the time here and I just have to say something...

Second word, bottom line...should be `you're`, short for `You Are`.

I am truly sorry if this post offends or angers anyone.

Regards

Mike.

Well I'm writing this on an ipad, this is a forum not a legal document or book, I'm sorry this offends you but I really don't care. And I won't be checking back over my grammar or spelling.

That's a shame.

Sorry, at least I didn't write U R or Ur.

Steady on Mike ...It doesn't really matter does it?.......Just the odd word or grammatical error?

What does matter.....is communication, friendly banter and information

Its a Forum for car enthusiasts, not a 'UCAS' Application Form!!

Well said Chris!

For me it does matter, Chris.

Our wonderful language is constantly under attack from our `cousins` across the pond...misspelling and mispronouncing most things and when we do the same thing here it just bothers me.

I did say in my original post that I understood this is a motoring forum and not an educational one...but come on chaps, lets not blame technology (iPad) for not trying.

I did suspect that I'd get this sort of reaction so I'm not surprised.

I will not mention it again...I'll just cringe inwardly.

Regards

Mike.

Not gonna debate it mike, I didn't think it was a problem.

Not that I noticed it to be quite honest, but there are more important things to worry about in life.

Sorry edit: I'm not going - not gonna.

So I'm 16 days on since I applied the colly and sonax BSD and its still beading like crazy, and in this pic it still looks really clean (i think) considering the roads I've been driving on.

it's not had a wash or rinse since application.

Missing having my alloys on, but it's worth it for the extra grip this time of year.

Update: Just had a phone call and should be able to pick it up later this afternoon. Will be in touch, Chris, to arrange a session on it!
