Featured Replies

Anyone know where I can buy some collinite 845 locally in West Yorkshire , I'm in queensbury but wanted to give the car a coat tomorrow. So I don't want to order online.

Thanks.

  • It could be. Yes It does look good   I cleaned one up last year (winter wheels still fitted):

  • What a magnificent looking car - wish it was on my drive...     ...still haven't heard back from the dealers about getting it back after the warranty work. Getting fed up driving around in a Rapid

  • I was going to ask if the magifoam was available anywhere other than direct from autobrite but now I have the answer!

You can use the code COLLECT in the promo code section of www.cleanyourcar.co.uk there's not too much you can't get from them, I always collect.

Then just pop down to Slaithwaite, Huddersfield, the guys are usually there until 5:30pm often later.

Give them a call.

I'd expect Chris to know somewhere more local if it exists. I'd loan you mine but I work in Manchester and couldn't see me getting it to you in daylight hours.

Thanks for the info and the offer sparkly, I'll give them a call in the morning.

That's the only place I know...'Clean your car'........ that's vaguely local

I have some if you want some applying however

I don't work on Thursdays

Sounds too good to refuse chris, what do I need to bring with me other than the car? And how much do you charge?

The real question is whether Chris can resist doing a full paint correction and protection detail :)

Mmmmm....Another day then

How strange that you sent that, he's actually a couple of streets away from my house and he made a delivery to me last night.

Service was fantastic and genuinely nice bloke who delivered my products to my door for no extra fee.

I will be using them as my one stop shop in the future.

Nice one :sun:

Still want your services Chris I spent a long time last night looking at some of the cars you have done. With the charity pics you put up.

I have to say I was stunned at the finish on some of those cars, absolutely amazing!

I'll be in touch.

OK mate

CU soon

Absolutely mate. Simon is a top bloke and cant do any more to help you out when ordering.

I've now ordered 4 times in the last few months with service and price being spot on!

Expecting my next order delivered in person on Saturday morning..... with something in there for Chris too!

Ring me when it comes Steve and I'll pop round.

Thanks

Will do Chris - he normally texts me on the day when he knows approx what time.

Great stuff. There are a few other bits I wanted to order so I might give him a call tomorrow and see if I can collect over the weekend.

Thanks for the info too. Good to know others have had pleasant dealings with them.

No problem - Happy to help.

Simon does a lot of business on the totalMINI forum as well.

All good reviews over there too - plus 10% discount as standard.

He is also happy to look into group buy prices/discounts if there is enough demand.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread because I've finally used some collinite 845 today.

I had to warm it as it was rock hard from being in the garage.

Quite impressed with the finish although my picture looks terrible plus it's very bad light (overcast)

Musky not the best colour for showing a shine also. But I'm pleased with it.

Looks nice..... i like that colour.... it must look great in the summer sun!  :)

Yes, good stuff...but best applied in warmer weather. I used it 6 months ago, and it still beads water very well. (My car spends most of it's life garaged, I should add!)

Yeah does look much different in the sunlight, that's one of the things I love about the colour, in different lights its almost like it changes colour!

Looks good Carl...despite the light

BTW...845 is thixotropic...ie Shake it well and it goes liquid again

This just goes to show how different it looks in different lights and angles.

I know I'm a terrible photographer by the way and only using an iPhone.
